Short Term Rental:
We need to enforce the ban we already have. If we can figure out how to coordinate code enforcement, law enforcement and community policing, then maybe we can finally effectively enforce the other bans we have in place, like public smoking, polystyrene and single use plastics.
Undergrounding of Utilities:
Fair, Inclusive and Transparent is the only way forward as we re-examine undergrounding in El Porto. Previous council set the unfair standard of 50%. I would fight to restore the 60% threshold that was fair enough for the rest of the city.
Technology is the foundation of communication with many of our newer - as well as our older - residents. As a communications professional, I support our technology department as it is and would expect them to play an even bigger role in communicating with residents about sustainability issues int he future.
